What is iMonkey?
iMonkey is a native iOS MediaMonkey Client for iOS devices that allows you to control MediaMonkey anywhere in your house. iMonkey consists of two pieces…a server piece which runs on your PC and the client piece which runs on your iPhone or iPod Touch. The server piece included here is called iMonkey.exe and is critical to using iMonkey on iOS.
The purpose of this program is simple: to allow control of your MediaMonkey from your iOS device with the touch of a finger. Don’t be a slave to your PC anymore, rock out from anywhere in your house!
What does it look like?
When the application is running you can control MediaMonkey from iMonkey with Player Controls play, pause, stop, shuffle, repeat, mute etc. Single tap the album cover to Play/Pause.
Turn your phone to the side for cool landscape view. From here you can see song progress and rate songs by clicking on the stars.
 From the Settings application on the iPhone just enter the IP Address and Port of the Windows PC running iMonkey Server you want to connect to. |
 Navigate your current playlist and immediately start playing any song you select from your playlist. |
 You can load any one of your Smartlists from the Smartlist tab. It will immediate load and start playing the first song of that playlist. |
 The info window just gives you some details about iMonkey Client. |
